Separation of Microgram Amounts of Rare Earths by Coprecipitation Method Ⅱ.Sparingly Solution Salts of Mercury as Carriers in Solution of Hydrofluoric Acid

The separation of microgram amounts of rare earths by coprecipitation method with mercury (Ⅰ) chloride and mercury (Ⅱ) sulphide in solution of hydrofluoric acid has been studied.It has been found that microgram amounts of rare earths may be separated from large amounts of iron,alumi- num,molybdenum,chromium and nickel.Particularly,the 10μg of rare earth oxides can be separated from 1000mg of Fe (Ⅱ).
