A rapid clonal propagation protocol of kiwifruit cultivar Jinkui( Actinidia chinensis var. deliciosa)

Effects of plant hormones on adventitious bud induction from mature leaves of Actinidia chinensis var. deliciosa cultivar "Jinkui ",bud multiplication and rooting were investigated. The results showed that TDZ was much more effective than BA in bud induction,and more than 90% of the mature leaf explants initiated adventitious buds on the medium supplemented with 1 mg/L TDZ and 0. 2 mg/L NAA;averagely,buds multiplied 4. 5-folds by nodal culture within 30 days on the medium containing 0. 3 mg/L BA plus 0. 5 mg/L GA_3; and all the shoots 2 3 cm long rooted well when they were cultured on the medium with0. 7 mg/L IBA within 35 days. The regenerated plantlets grew healthily after they were acclimated in greenhouse for 30 days and then cultured under natural environment; the survival rate of the plantlets was 96%after 90 days of transplantation.
