The immunological function of metformin was studied. The experiment adopts the female Kunming mice. The female Kunming mice were administered with Metformin at the dose of 0. 25 and 0. 50 g·kg-1 once a day for 30 days by intragastric infusion, respectively. The body weight, cellular immunity function, humoral immunity function, single nucleus-macrophage function were examined separately.Compared with the control group, metformin had no significant effect on humoral immune function and mononuclear-macrophage function in mice, however, the cellular immune function of mice increased significantly, and the effect of metformin increased with the increase in concentration, indicating that metformin did not have a significant effect on immune function, and some aspects have enhanced role.
