"Literati Associations and Economic Prosperity" Is a False Proposition

ZHANG Tao(Editorial Office,Hebei Academic Journal,Shijiazhuang 050051,China)
The academic community thinks that the prosperity of literati associations in the late Ming dynasty was attributed to the economic prosperity in the South. As we know, the ten-year reform by Zhang Ju-zheng in the Ming dynasty made society and economy prosper, but the fall of the Ming dynasty was still recessing. In this background, the economy was recessing in the late Ming dynasty. If so,literati association promoted by prosperous economy may be a false proposition.
