The Ecological View in Emily Dickinson's Poems of Nature

Emily Dickinson is one of the most female poet in the history of American literature. Her works,especially his poems about nature,draw a lot attention home and abroad. Recently,since the natural environment continues to get worse ecological environment has become people's concern. In the domain of literature,eco-criticism becomes an important research methodology of literature to analyze the relation between literature works and environment. From the perspective of eco-criticism,Dickinson's education background and the development of her ecological view are studied. By analyzing three of her poems,it is discovered that her ecological ideas are presented in her poems. Her poems about nature show reciprocal relation between man and nature and ecological completeness.
