Design of dual power cylinder in the steering system of double-front-axle heavy trucks

The working characteristics of dual power cylinder in the steering system of double-front-axle heavy trucks are analyzed.The mathematical models of two power cylinders are established.The main parameters of the subsidiary power cylinder are studied,including the calculation load,the internal diameter of the cylinder,the diameter of the piston rod,the piston stroke and the shell thickness of the cylinder.The design of the main power cylinder is described.The adaptability and reusability of the method are proved by a real heavy truck.
