Research on the conjoint control of the vehicle's active suspension and anti-lock braking system

In the paper,the semi-vehicle model of seven degrees of freedom,the hydraulic braking model and the white-noise road surface model are founded,and based on the practical PID controller,the conjoint control of the vehicle's active-suspension and anti-lock braking system(ABS)is achieved.The adjusting of the suspension control system aims at improving suspension performance as well as getting the optimal normal counter force of the wheel as the sliding rate of the wheel is at its best.The adjusting of the ABS aims at getting the optimal sliding rate of the wheel and advancing braking performance.Simulation experiments show that under the conjoint control,both the suspension performance indexes and the braking performance of the vehicle have evident improvements in comparison with the single control of the two systems.
