Forecast of Economic Recoverable Reserves of Oilfield

Phase flow technology applies the concept of split-phase flow for normal production wells process in the assessment of recoverable reserves; the oil wells continue to produce in the same or similar ways without closing. This method gives the relationship curve of the average water saturation (outlet) of all the well bottoms and moisture content. Oil recoverable reserves of oil can be got by calculating, and this curve can be used to evaluate the final total recoverable reserves. Phase flow theory is applied to predict economic recoverable reserves of the oil field. Prediction is carried out without shutting oil fields to avoid loss of shut-in oil well. From Yangerzhuang and Longhupao oilfield instances, phase flow prediction models have very good results, proving that the model is easy to grasp and calculate, and is highly accurate.
