Research on Characteristics of Biof ilm of Biological Fluidized Bed in Treating Middle Stage Wastewater from Paper Mill

Biological fluidized bed was used to treat middle stage wastewater from p aper mill.The experiments showed that biofilm grew from the part of the surface to the whole surface o f the carrier.Epistylis and threadl ike formed the framework.Organic chlorides in the wastewater inhibited the activity of the biofilm.But even mid dle stage water accounted for 80%of the sample wastewater,the SOUR of biofilm exceeded 80mg·L /(g·h).Experiments also showed the optimum thickness of the biofilm was 45μm.
