Evaluation of the Side Reaction Coefficient of the Coexistence Ion in the Presence of Complexation Masking Agent from an Exercise

The side reaction coefficient of the coexistence ion in the presence of complexation masking agent was evaluated from an exercise in the present paper.The sectional titration discriminant of the mixed metal ions M and N was proposed to act as the discriminant of substitution the analytical concentration of coexistence ion N for its equilibrium concentration[N′]at the stoichiometric point,and the accurate equilibrium concentration[N′]was calculated when the condition was not satisfied.
