Measures and Thinking about Engineering Ability of Young Teachers of Engineering Majors in Universities

Young teachers of engineering majors in universities are generally lack of engineering ability and engineering experience.This paper introduces some measures in the field of engineering ability training of young teachers of chemical engineering and technology major in China university of petroleum-Beijing.These measures include perfecting incentive and supervision policy for engineering ability training,participating in the guidance of professional experiment teaching,guiding students design by teacher group,fully participating in practice based on practice platforms,deeply learning in enterprises with the transformation of scientific research achievement,carrying out collective teaching and discussion,playing a role of " mentoring" teaching team,organizing teachers to attend engineering education and training.The implementation of these measures provides a better guarantee for improving the engineering ability of young teachers as soon as possible.
