Determination of Organic and Inorganic Selenium in Thlaspi Arvense L by Hydride Generation-Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry

A method for the determination of organic and inorganic selenium in Thlaspi Arvense L by hydride generation-atomic fluorescence spectrometry(HG-AFS) had been presented.The effects of the instrumental parameters,chemical parameters and interferential elements on atomic fluorescence signals of selenium were investigated.The contents and ratio of organic and inorganic selenium in different extraction methods were detected.The detection limit for selenium was 0.022 μg/ L under the optimum conditions.The linear range was 0~100 μg/ L.The relative standard derivation was 1.29 %.The recoveries were 100.6%~103.6%.The total of selenium content in the root,column and leaf were respectively 0.0 393±0.001 μg/g,0.1 042±0.002 μg/g,0.0 789±0.001 μg/g.The organic selenium content was 0.0 697±0.002 μg/g in the column of Thlaspi arvense L,and the ratio was above 67%.
