BORON OREBODY CHARACTERS AND PROSPECTIVE HYPOTHESIS OF ANCIENT UPLIFT IN DASHIQIAO-FENG CHENG-KUANDIAN AREA

Dashiqiao-Fengcheng-Kuandian boron orebody is controlled by Dashiqiao-Fengcheng -Kuandian ancient uplift structure zone of northeastern north China platform.The W-E、SW-NE banding Proterozoic boron-bearing series of Lieryu formation of lower Liaohe group is of about 350km length and 60km width.The boron orebody was host in the serpentinization forsterite or magnesium rich marble with some obvious characters including stratabound and lithology control characters.the relationship between the thickness of boron-bearing series and the orebody is direct correlation and form the ore while the thickness is over 35m.The thicker the orebody is,the bigger and better the orebody scale and quality are.4 metallogenic prospectives had been predicted according to the boron orebody characters in eastern Liaoning province.
