Study on Copper-based Catalysts for Methanol Synthesis by Different Precursor

The catalysts for methanol synthesis were prepared by co-precipitation method, and the sample was dried by different precursor. The activity test showed that the catalyst prepared by acetate precursors instead of nitrate have higher activity. The TPR results show that the reduced properties of the catalysts with different precursors have some differences. The XRD show that the catalysts prepared by acetate precursor have higher dispersion of the ZnO and CuO and its interaction between copper component and zinc component is stronger.
