The Progress of Fluorinated Surfactants Recovery Technology

This paper outlined various recovery methods of fluorinated surfactants in the fluoropolymer production progress。 It′ s believed that the recovery technology by alkali absorption is the major technology in waste gas; while in the waste water, precipitation method is easy to form secondary pollution; vacuum concentration method is easy to blister and cost too much energy; ion exchange method has large exchange capacity and high system efficient, but costs much materials and formes secondary pollution, in the exchange resin regeneration; foam separation-nanofiltration method, reverse osmosis membrane method and the membrane method avoid the secondary pollution. For the foam separation-nanofiltration method, the processed design composed of foam separation and nanofiltration is complex and difficult to continuous operation. It's showed that fluorinated surfactants emission will be a technical barrier, and recovery technology will be urgently needed in fluorine resin industry, the membrane method with high degree automation and lower energy consumption, has a good industrial utilization value, and will be significantly promoted and applied.
