Technology of Methane Chloride Produced by Catalytic Decomposition Carbon Tetrachloride and Methanol

The paper introduced the technology and practical control process of methane chloride produced by catalytic decomposition carbon tetrachloride and methanol; briefly described the reaction mechanism and chemical reaction equation of carbon tetrachloride hydrolysis, alcoholysis and methanol hydrogen chloride; analyzed the condition and method of catalysts choice, process optimization,equipment selection and actual operation parameters control; the carbon tetrachloride conversion can reach more than 95% and the utilization can reach more than 98% under the condition that the reaction temperature was 250~290 ℃, the catalytic reaction interval time was more than 20 s, the methanol and carbon tetrachloride molar ratio was 3.5~3.8.
