In the present paper, the difference between the relativistic resonance condition in momentum space and that in velocity space is pointed out. It is proved that the difference is due to the nonlinear relation of the relativistic momentum to the velocity:Furthermore, a simple judgement of conditions on which the maximum growth rate may exist is discussed. It is shown that for N2 cos2 (?) 1, Wu-Lee criteria in both spaces yield the same result.
