NUMERICAL METHOD FOR SOLVING THE IMPURITY DIFFUSION EQUATIONS

A numerical method is applied to the solution of diffusion equations for impurities in tokamak plasma. Some numerical results have been obtained, which show good agreement with physics analysis. In addition, some problems concerning the linearization of nonlinear coefficients, treatment of boundary conditions and simultaneous solution of partial differential equations are discussed.
