COMPUTER SIMULATION OF PLASMA TRANSPORT WITH LOW-Z IMPURITY IN TOKAMAK

A computer code has been developed based on 1-D transport model including both neoclassical and anomalous transport.This model is able to calculate the spatial-time evolution of( 1 ) electron and light ion temperatures and densities, ( 2 ) light neutral atom density,and( 3 ) low-z impurity densities.The ST and HT-6B Tokamak discharges with oxygen impurity have been simulated. The results of density distribution of impurities,impurity flux,radiation energy losses,plasma temperature and energy confinement time are in good agreement with the experiments.The effects of low-z impurity and neutral particle on tokamak discharge are studied numerically.
