SIMULATION OF ENERGY DEPOSITION OF CHARGED PARTICLE BEAM IN TARGET PLASMAS

Using the Bethe-Bloch theory, the LSS theory, and Perking's slowing down theory, we have calculated the interaction of a charged particle beam with target atoms and target plasmas. In the calculation, the equation of state of real gas and the one-dimensinal radiation-hydrodynamic code are used. The computational results are in good agreement with experimental results.
