Development of DSP control system on 3-phase AC/AC cycloconverter without circulating current

A DSP-based control system on a three-phase AC/AC cycloconverter without circulating current,including its hardware and software,has been developed.The results from the trial run are introduced in this paper.They show that the developed DSP-based control system has excellent control characters in both precision and real time.0~15Hz current and voltage can be output by the cycloconverter,and the current dead-band can be reduced to 1.2ms.
