Analysis on Chemical Characteristics in Fine Particles in Weifang

To study the pollution characteristics of atmospheric fine particulate matter in Weifang,samples were collected at one urban monitoring site in 2015, in which carbon fraction, water-soluble ions and inorganic elements were determined.The results showed that water-soluble ions were the most abundant components in PM_(2.5), followed by OC, trace elements and EC.The concentration levels of carbon fraction, some water-soluble ions and some anthropogenic trace elements in the heating season were significantly higher than those in the sandstorm season and the non-heating season, attributed to the increase in the coal consumption in the heating season.In the sandstorm season, OC in the PM_(2.5)samples mainly derived from secondary organic carbon.
