DGPS/INS Integrated Navigation System

This paper breifly describes the characters and shortcomings of two main technical ways to improve the precision and performance of GPS (that is, DGPS and GPS/INS). A scheme for integrating DGPS and INS has been proposed. The paper researches the design of Kalman filter for this kind of system, and a computer simulation has been made. The result indicates that the DGPS/INS integrated system can provide a real time positioning precision of 1～2m.
