A distributed master-slave communication control structure of power converter

To deal with some deficiencies of the existing distributed control structure,a distributed master-slave communication control structure based on Manchester code is proposed.The system control function is divided into two levels.The master controller performs the function of top-level calculation while the slaver controller fulfills the function of the bottom-level control.Thus,it is possible to effectively overcome the difficulty in the design of a single controller so that the task of control can be fulfilled easily.Also,this paper analyzes the basic principle and useful methods of the synchronous network,fault network and data network of the master-slave control structure and proposes a new communication method based on Manchester code to make the communication rate up to 40 Mb/s,which can meet the most needs of the medium-high power electronic system with 10 kHz switching frequency in application.Finally,experiments are made to verify the synchronization error,fault processing and data communication of the proposed master-slave communication control structure.The results prove that the control structure is sound and feasible.
