Space resection by means of skew symmetric matrix

Based on the orthogonal property of rotation matrix,a kind of skew symmetric matrix is introduced to describe collinearity equation.With its linearized model,iteration is used to solve elements of exterior orientation and space resection of single photograph is realized.Finally,the correctness of the method is verified by numeric examples.The approach abandons Euler angles and contains6 parameters,which could provide an alternative choice for space resection with small or medium attitude angles and enrich the theoretical system of photogrammetry to some degree.
