Magnetostrictive Material and Design of Magnetostrictive Actuator

Ouyang Guangyao Shi Yin  
In this paper, the magnetostrictive ratio is measured, and the magnetostrictive actuator for active vibration control is designed. The heat produced by coil, magnetic and bias magnetic field and electric field is dealed with. It is proved that the actuator has wide frequency response properties and a large force output. It is feasible to use this kind of actuator in active vibration isolation control.
