A Design Method for Dive Instruction with Transition Factors

The trajectory becomes unsteady from the glide phase to the dive phase because the motion state of hypersonic aircraft cannot match the guidance law quickly. So the dive instruction with transition factors was designed and then the quality of transition phase was improved. The steady glide trajectory was analyzed and then the basic condition for steady transition was proposed. Three kinds of dive instructions with transition factors were designed on the foundation of introducing transition factors included linear function, polynomial function, sine function and exponential function. Finally, the simulation result proved the rationality of these dive instructions. The result showed that this algorithm needed little computation and had high guidance accuracy. Besides, it had definite value to engineering application.
