THE ADVANCES IN MEASUREMENT OF ATMOSPHERIC OH RADICAL USING LASER INDUCED FLUORESCENCE TECHNIQUE

Abstract Hydroxyl radical(OH) is the most important oxidant in the troposphere. Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) technique has been widely used in the determination of OH. In this article, the measurement of atmospheric OH using LIF technique was reviewed, especially the new FAGE technique (fluorescence assay with gas expansion). The uncertainty and its possible solutions were discussed, and future research trends were evaluated.
