Recent advances on bioremediation mechanism of PCBs contamination in soil and sediment

Recent advances on influence factors of PCBs and mechanism in bioremediation process are summarized in this paper. The anaerobic dechlorination,aerobic degradation, degradation by fungus, and surfactants for PCBs degradation of improving and restraining mechanism, have been discussed and involved constructing recombinant bacteria for degradation of PCBs completely. This paper provides some prospects for the field.
