Fine dust separation by circumfluent cyclone systems

Three different configurations of circumfluent cyclone systems have been studied for fine dust separation, using molecular sieve zeolites-air mixture as feed material. According to experimental results of pressure drop and collection efficiency, the circumfluent cyclone system with rectifier of guide prick had the highest collection efficiency and a higher pressure drop. From the grade efficiency curve of this system, an interesting phenomenon was found that the particles of 2.8 μ m diameters has a larger collection efficiency than 4 μ m ones.
