Experimental Research on the Degradation of Organic Compounds in the Coking-Plant Wastewater by Superiority Bacteria

Six Gram(+) superiority bacteria were isolated from the active sludge of the Aeration Tank and from the outlet water of wastewater treatment process of coking-plants.The strains of microorganism were identified to different genera,according to bacteria morphology character and numeric biochemical tests.The optimal degradation temperature is confirmed as(30 ℃,) while the rotating speed and strain dosage are 100(r/min) and 20% respectively.The experimental results show that the six organisms can well degrade quinoline,naphthalin and pyridine. The quinoline-degrading bacteria H24,H26 and H31 have a better removal capability for quinoline,and the naphthalin-degrading bacterium H14 have a better removal capability for naphthalin.The active sludge domesticated by mixed superiority bacteria can improve the removal efficiency of quinoline,naphthalin and pyridine,and the removal efficiency is higher than 90%.
