Isolation,Application and Molecular Identification of Deodorizing Bacteria for Methyl Mercaptan

The objective of this research is to degrade low concentration Methyl mercaptan by microorganism.Strain Jll screened out from different odor origins could efficiently remove methyl mercaptan(MM).A systematic identification method,16S rDNA gene sequence comparison,for deodorizing bacteria was carried out. The 16S rDNA gene sequence analysis of strain Jll showed the highest level of 97% homology to Rape rhizosphere.The strain Jll's growth was rapid and the time of deodorizing domestication shortened.After Jll was inoculated into trickledbed biofilters,the removal efficiency was up to 100% after only 4 days,operating at the air flow rate of(0.3)(m~3/h) and inlet pollutant concentration of 40(mg/m~3).When the superficial air flow rate was(0.3),(0.6) and(1.2)(m~3/h), maximum elimination capacity of(36.2),(41.8) and(16.4)(mg/(m~3·h)) was obtained respectively.Adjusting inlet loads of(96±3)(mg/(m~3·h)) to suitable low inlet loads,the removal efficiency of bioreactor could improve rapidly.It shows that the Jll has powerful capacity to degrade MM and resistance to shocks.
