Geological characteristics and genesis of Bamian Gold Deposit in Laos

Laos is located in the central north part of the Central South Peninsula,Southeast Asia.Bamian Gold Deposit is located in northwest of Oudomxay Province,Laos,and has complex geological environment and favorable metallogenic conditions.6 gold ore veins are found in Bamian gold district by carrying out 1∶50 000 survey and trenching.According to the investigation and study,the Bamian Gold Deposit is controlled by the brittle shear zone superimposed on the ductile shear zone.The deposit has no causation and time relationship with the ductile shear zone other than an indirect spatial relationship.Bamian Gold Deposit is a post-shearing hydrothermal deposit.
