Experimental study on gold recovery from refractory arsenic-containing micro-fine gold ores

The paper carried out experimental research on gold recovery process according to the property of one refractory arsenic-containing micro-fine gold ore.The gold grade of the ore is 4.14 g/t,arsenic grade is 1.80 %,and the main minerals are hematite,limonite and arsenopyrite.Gold is deposited in fine grains,mainly taking the form of microscopic gold that takes up 66.67 % of the entire gold grains in ores.Experiments that have explored single flotation,flotation-cyanidation,all-sliming cyanidation and such processes show that flotation-cyanidation process can obtain a total gold recovery rate of 84.82 % but excessive amount of arsenic in gold concentrates as well,which,however,can be subjected to metallurgic tests to reduce arsenic;all-sliming cyanidation can obtain a gold recovery of 73.61 % with arsenic grade of 1.71 % in leaching slags,which is good index.
