Longitudinal vibration analysis of rod

CAO Jia-yan (Shenyang Technical School of Mechanical Industry,Liaoning Shenyang 110000)  
The longitudinal vibration of rod is one of the topics for a continuous system, that has distributed mass, distributed elasticity and distributed damping. The longitudinal vibration of rod is described by a wave e-quation,and the space and time coordinates,while its equation of motion is a partial differential equation.
