Finite element analysis of the vibro-acoustic coupling of thin-walled structure of combustion chamber

The research of vibro-acoustic coupling characteristics of thin-walled structure of engine combustion chamber is directly related to its thermal vibro-acoustic coupling fatigue failure.In this paper,the vibro-acoustic coupling numerical model of combustion chamber with the cooling channel was established with the finite element software ANSYS.The vibration characteristics of the thin-walled structure of combustion chamber were calculated in the case of considering and not considering the coupling element.Results show that,the modal frequencies of the thin-walled structure of combustion chamber decrease slightly considering the coupling.But the modal shapes corresponding to the frequencies remain the same,and produce strong coupling only in the frequency 389.6Hz.The influence of cooling channel on structural vibration is larger than the combustion chamber cavity,which,therefore,should be considered in the future study.
