FDTD Analysis on the Effects of Plasma Temperature and Density on Target Plasma Stealth

A finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) algorithm is applied to study the electromagnetic reflection of conduction plane covered with inhomogeneous, collision, warm, isotropic plasma under the isothermal hypothesis. Under the one-dimensional case, the reflection coefficients of EM wave through various plasmas are calculated under different plasma densities, different plasma temperature conditions. The effects of plasma temperature and density on the collisional absorption of the EM wave by plasmas have been obtained. The results illustrate that the absorption of EM-wave by plasma collision is efficient, and the frequency width of absorption is wide when the plasma temperature and density are high.
