A New Direct Allocation Algorithm Based on Null-space

Direct allocation is an effective method to solve control surfaces redundancy problem. However it can only optimize the minimum target error in a specified direction,which limits the application of direct allocation. In this case,other performance can be optimized by mathematic programming in the null space coordinates after 3 dimension direct allocation. It is shown through derivation that minimum control problem and minimum drag problem can be transformed into linear programming problem and quadratic programming problem respectively. Simulation results show that the minimum drag problem and minimum control problem can be solved by the new direct allocation algorithm based on null-space proposed in the paper.
