Simulation of Air Traffic Flow Based on NetLogo

In order to reveal the air traffic flow change rule varies with time and space,and to illustrate air traffic phenomenon and its mechanism,air traffic flow simulation can be used to analyze the characteristics and the relationship between elements of air traffic flow. This article introduces a multi-agent simulation tool- NetLogo which is used to model the terminal arriving traffic flow,and describes the process in air traffic modeling and experiment through instance. The results show that the agent- based tool of simulation and modeling can be used in the air traffic experiment,and it well represented the traffic flow characteristic of real world. NetLogo is a particularly convenient tool of air traffic modeling and simulation.
