CFD Validation for a High-lift Model

In this paper,CFD validation for a high- lift standard model named NASA Trapwing with fullspan configuration is investigated. Capabilities of two in- house CFD solvers,WiseManPlus and WoF90, are assessed for predicting flows around high lift device by using N-S methods to forecast given flow conditions and analyze coherent flow physics. After an detailed study for all process including mesh generation,computational strategy and data processing,a method suitable for high lift configuration calculation in engineering is proposed,and results with good agreement with experiment are obtained. The results show that the solver WiseManPlus for the structured grid and the solver WoF90 for unstructured grid,used here have similar accuracy,and both are suitable for simulation of high lift flow.
