Research on ideal steady-state programming control strategy of integrated PWR

The second side of Once-Through Steam Generator(OTSG) has less volume than the U-tube SG,so the control strategy of Integrated Pressurized Water Reactor with OTSG is more complex.The ideal steady-state programming with constant coolant average temperature and fresh steam pressure,which take advantage of the steady-state programming with constant coolant average temperature and the steady-state programming with constant fresh steam pressure benefit for both primary and second loop of reactor plant.In this paper,the steady-state operational characteristics of IP220 under ideal steady-state programming are researched by means of the RELAP5 code.The results show that the control strategy can maintain both coolant average temperature and fresh steam constant with the load ranging between 15 to 100 percent full power.
