Fuzzy Generalized Predictive Control of the Nuclear Reactor Power

In order to meet the need of the load-following capability of nuclear reactor,global fuzzy generalized predictive controller which is based on T-S fuzzy model,was designed for point reactor neutron kinetics equations.Using the parallel distributed compensation(PDC)method,local predictive controllers which based on the linearization equation are unified in the global and strong nonlinear range.It expands the scope of application of the generalized predictive controller in nuclear reactor power control.The simulation shows that the controller has a good global load-following capability in the three typical operating conditions and it can also ensure the safety of nuclear reactor.
