Kinematic Analysis on Spiral Line Unfolding Mechanism of Steel-ball Whole Surface

The steel-ball surface detects have a great impact on the functional performance of the bearing.In this paper,for the question of spherical whole surface unfolding in automatic detection of the steel-ball surface defects,we have presented a kind of spiral line unfolding mechanism.According to the theoretical analysis,we have established the model on spiral line unfolding movement of sphere and proposed the whole surface unfolding conditions of sphere,based on which we designed a type of corresponding mechanism and analysed its mechanical dynamics.In addition,we carried out the kinematics simulation to this mechanism by the ADAMS software.The result proved that the steel ball can be completely unfolded by the mechanism designed in this paper,which laid a theoretical foundation for the steel-ball whole surface unfolding in the automatic detection.
