Case study of urban traffic signal control based on event driven

Many newintelligent transportation signal control methods are presented to satisfy the increasing demand of traffic control and traffic management. But most of the algorithm at the present stage stay up in theoretical research and computer simulation. To solve the alienation of theory from practice in the research of urban traffic signal control. This paper develop a new traffic signal control system based on event- driven model. Then adaptor and resolver are developed. This paper apply this system to real road to achieve the inductive control and arterial coordination control.
