Study on resident trip into public transport under different rainfall intensity

Rainfall affects the behavior of residents 'travel mode,and the difference of precipitation level has different influence on residents' travel mode. Therefore,there is a significant difference between the traffic conditions of precipitation and other times.In this paper,through the investigation of travel intention and travel mode under different precipitation levels,this paper analyzes the residents' conversion of public transport under different travel destination,age,economic situation and different rainfall intensity,and draws that residents travel by bus at different rainfall intensity. The purpose of travel,age,and economic impact vary.And establishes the binary Logit model to study the choice of bus travel conditions under rainfall conditions,analyzes the relationship between residents' travel and travel destination,age and income under different rainfall intensity,and uses the survey data to calibrate the parameters. The choice of residents 'travel mode under the level of precipitation varies with the purpose of residents' travel,age,economic difference and rainfall intensity.
