Effect of Composite Microbial Strains on Ammonia Nitrogen Removal

Ammonia emissions monitoring was a main problem to protect air quality around livestock and poultry farms.Composite microbial strains,X-3 and X-5,were isolated from soil in the hoggery.The effect of ammonia nitrogen removal was detected by Na's colorimetry.And the relationship of viable count and ability of ammonia removal were analyzed through plate dilution method.The results showed that multiple strains had a great effect on ammonia nitrogen removal,and the average removal rate of ammonia nitrogen was 87.43% at 7 d.Nonzero correlation showed that there was a positive correlation between them.The deodorant had great effect on ammonia nitrogen removal and could delay deodorant time.
