Analysis of Autumn Magnetotactic Bacteria Diversity in Heiyu Lake of Daqing City

To investigate the diversity of magnetotactic bacteria in autumn sediment of Heiyu lake in Daqing and realize its distribution,the light microscope and transmission electron microscope(TEM)were utilized to observe magnetotactic bacteria,and it's sequence was analyzed after 16 S rRNA gene amplification. The results showed that most of the MTB were magnetotactic cocci and containing magnetosomes,which were hexahedral prismatic mineral crystals. All the magnetosomes were magnetite,most of which were organized in single,hash,and miscellaneous chain. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16 S rRNA gene sequences revealed that 30 sequences of MTB belonged to 7 OTUs and were affiliated to Alphaproteobacteria. Five OTUs shared equal to 95% 16 S rRNA gene sequence similarity with already known sequences,which suggested 5 new species. These results indicated the resourceful MTB of Heiyu lake.
