Molecular cloning and sequence analysis of phosphogluconate dehydrogenase(PGD) gene in Min pig

Using comparative genomics approach,for the first time,this study cloned and sequenced the phosphogluconate intron 9,10,12 of phosphogluconate dehydrogenase gene in Min pig.By means of sequence alignment,find 2 point mutations which are 120 G→C and 185 C→G in intron 9 of PGD gene,the latter causes a deletion of NlaⅢ restriction site,another point mutation existing in intron 10 which is 129 T→C causes a deletion of Ace Ⅰ restriction site,and there were no point mutation in intron 12.
