Research and application of the fiber reinforced polymer bars in concrete

Fiber reinforced polymer(FRP) bars is a modern compound material with characteristics of high tensile strength,light weight,strong resistance to corrosion and fatigue loadings.The basic performance and characteristics of the FRP bars are discussed,and the research and application progress of the FRP bars reinforced concrete are described.
