Effect of coarse aggregate size distribution on concrete strength development process

The effect of coarse aggregate size distribution on concrete strength development process was studied,while keeping the coarse aggregate content constant and alterating the coarse aggregate size distribution and water to binder ratio.Experiment results show that,in order to facilitate concrete strength development,when lowering the concrete water to binder ratio,coarse aggregate with smaller maximum size should be adopted,and vise verse.
